Hospitality Awards Supported by Local Businesses

Organised by the Southampton Region Hoteliers Association, the 2020 Hospitality Awards have been designed to seek out the high achievers and teams throughout 2019 and will amplify the best hotels and venues in the city for areas such as customer service, guest satisfaction and market growth.

An array of local businesses is supporting the awards including Headline Sponsor Cab My Ride. Arjan Sahota, CEO of Cab My Ride said “Following the success of last year we are proud to sponsor the awards for the 2nd year running. These awards mean a lot to Cab My Ride as they celebrate the hospitality stars of the community and shout about how Southampton and the region are working together to create a city people love to visit!”

Nathan Chart, Chair of the Southampton Region Hoteliers Association highlights that the awards would not be able to take place without the support of local businesses “We are very fortunate to have local businesses supporting the awards – headline sponsor, category sponsors, media support, staging, entertainment, photography, printing, catering, venue… the list goes on. Without their support, we wouldn’t be able to celebrate the Hospitality industry in this way and we are extremely thankful for their involvement.”

  1. Mentor of the Year – Sponsored by The Marketing Collective
  2. Rising Star of the Year – Sponsored by HotelCare

In fact, Wave 105’s success as a business in its own right complements the values associated with these awards which celebrate and embrace sustained business excellence, dedicated and passionate staff and a distinct understanding of great customer service.”

Winning the awards really means a lot to those unsung heroes, to hear from some of last year’s winners visit:

Voting for the Hospitality Awards closes on the 1st November and finalists will then be announced later that month, culminating in an awards ceremony crowning winners in February 2020.

The non-profit awards will again donate a portion of the ceremony ticket sales to the charity FareShare; the UK’s largest charity fighting hunger and food waste, by saving food from going to waste and redistributing it to frontline charities. Last year’s awards enabled the Association to provide £2,000 for the charity.
