Southampton Jobs Fair Local

The Southampton Jobs Fair Local is a new initiative by the Southampton Jobs Fair Partnership that provides businesses with the opportunity for quality engagement with local job seekers.

These job seekers will typically be receiving support from the Jobs Fair Partnership organisations to overcome various barriers to employment as well as students graduating or looking for seasonal part time work. We are also keen to engage those looking to move career or change jobs within the hotel and leisure industry and the Jobs Fair Local is a platform for these job seekers to benefit from seeing employers face to face.

After our previous events, we are organising this smaller event at the Novotel Southampton to support invited Work Programme and Job Centre Plus clients to find employment.
The partners who lead the management of this event are: Southampton City Council, PeoplePlus, Wheatsheaf Trust, Maximus, Shaw Trust and Department for Work and Pensions.
This event is also being organised in partnership with the Southampton and Region Hoteliers Association.

This could be your chance to find your next job with a supportive local employer. If you would like to attend this FREE event, please register using Eventbrite and select the time slot that you would like to arrive at. The time slot is only for your arrival, once you are inside the Jobs Fair you are welcome to stay for as long as you need.

The time slots available are: 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm (the last time slot will only be available for 30 minutes). Register by 5pm on Wednesday 15th November 2017.
